MSP Polar Bear Plunge “PLUNGEFEST 2012”

Posted by RaySa

Jan 24, 2012

Team Austin's Ice-Cubes will be taking the plunge again into the freezing Chesapeake Bay on Saturday, January 28th… all to raise money for the Special Olympics of Maryland! Missy & Rusty Shown started Austin’s Ice-Cubes six years ago to honor their son, Austin, who was born with Down Syndrome. Their team has been able to raise and donate over $40,000 to the Special Olympics. This year’s team consists of old and new plungers who are excited to take part in the coolest event around, and to help Austin and his many friends with intellectual disabilities. Please consider making a donation to Team Austin's Ice-Cubes! Please "bear" in mind that every donation to Special Olympics Maryland is tax deductible. The Shown Family and their future Special Olympian greatly appreciate your support and generosity.
