Ingredients

  • Butter Cooking Spray
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder (I used chocolate flavor).
  • ½ cup almond meal
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt
  • ½ cup maple
  • 2 liquid egg whites (6 tbsps.)
  • 2 tbsp. Greek yogurt (plain and nonfat)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat your over to 350 degrees F. (Before, make sure to place oven rack in the middle).

Prepare a baking sheet with butter cooking spray.

Mix all dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls (except the chocolate chips) and then pour the egg mixture with the dry ingredients.

Next step is to drop dough onto baking sheet (1 tbsp. of batter each cookie).

Bake for 10-12 minutes in the middle of the oven.

Let cool for 5 minutes while you melt the 2 tbsp. of chocolate chips in the microwave for a couple of seconds (be careful not to burn them). When the chocolate chips are melted, drizzle it into the cookies.

Enjoy in moderation.
